Welcome Wyona Sunset Strip

Introducing Wyona Sunset Strip

We are extremely pleased to welcome our Newest Stud male to our Stable of Quality Stud Boys

Wyona Sunset Strip is a beautiful Roan Grey Male with the most beautiful superfine crimpy fleece. He has an amazing handle with a lustrous bright sheen to his fleece as well.

We have always liked the colour grey in Alpacas for as long as we have been breeding and have produced some stunning grey females, like Thief of Hearts Honeybunch and lately was Thief of Hearts Lady Macbeth who sold at the National Auction last year for $11,000

It has been a long time since we owned a Grey Stud Male and the reason is simple …….. We just could not fine one good enough, until we found “Strip”

We have been looking for a good Grey male for a couple of years now, and when we saw Strip at the Auzy Nationals, he certainly took our eye.

Besides being a beautifully put together young male his temperament is just fantastic, he is so quiet and easy going that he is a real pleasure to work with. We pride ourselves on having fantastic temperament in our Stud Boys and Strip just adds to this group.

If you are wondering why we have purchased Sunset Strip – The answer is for several reasons ……..

  • We are always on the look out for the best Stud Males in the world.
  • It offers us more Breeding Options by having a Grey Male.
  • We have some very good females with coloured fibres throughout their fleece and this is hard to breed out, and having a superior Grey male allows us to make the best use of these females.
  • Gaye loves to spin Grey Fleeces more than any other colour.
  • We can put Strip over our Black Females to improve their fleeces while retaining the colours.

He is pictured here winning another 1st place, this time as an intermediate.

You will notice his balance, alongside his perfect conformation and he is covered from head to toe in a superfine Rose Grey fleece.

We are confident that Sunset Strip will make an improvement to any female he is used over.
